Jessica

Jessica, Dublin Scioto High School, Image from Squier Photography.
Last week Jessica came in for her Senior Portraits and what a fun time we had. The weather was beautiful and we got some amazing images.

Doesn't the flare look great in this one. I love it.

I'm so happy with how these turned out. Jessica is one of our senior ambassadors (senior reps) at Dublin Scioto High School so be sure to ask her for a rep card. You'll get some free stuff for bringing it in.

Melissa

Melissa is our first Senior for the class of 2009. We did her portraits on Saturday afternoon, and the weather looked nasty. It poured for the first part -- luckily we were inside. Amazingly, it cleared up just as we were to go outside for that part of the session and it ended up being a beautiful day.Melissa is also one of our Ambassadors to Dublin Scioto High School. Ask her about having your Senior Portraits done at Squier Photography and she'll tell you all about it and give you a card. You'll get some free prints just for turning in her Ambassador Card with your paid session. You don't have to be a Senior at DSHS to take advantage of this offer -- you can be from any High School. So have your Senior Pictures done at Squier Photography.
We're still looking for Senior Ambassadors from a few area High Schools. You can find out all about the program on this post. Now, I'm sure you all want to see her slideshow, so here it is.

Senior Portrait Ambassador Reps Needed

Check out this new slideshow of a bunch of senior portraits. Just click on the image above. To see the full-sized slideshow in another window (instead of right here on the blog), just follow this link.

We're still looking for a few more Juniors to be our senior portrait ambassadors in their schools. Right now we need one more representative from each of these schools:

Dublin Coffman
Dublin Jerome
Thomas Worthington
Worthington Kilbourne
We're all set for Dublin Scioto

If you attend a smaller school, private school, or one in another town, please let us know if you're interested in this program. We have opportunities for many other schools.

This is a great way to get discounts on your Senior Portrait Session and your Senior Pictures. You also earn $10 to $15 for every High School Senior you send to us. In addition, the Seniors you refer to us will receive 16 free wallet prints. This is a great opportunity but it's also limited to a few select seniors so you need to get in touch with us right away.

Here's all the info on what an ambassador is and how to apply to become one:

What is the Squier Ambassador Program?

Squier Ambassadors are high school juniors who are chosen to represent Squier Photography to their friends and acquaintances for their Senior Portraits.

What does a Squier Ambassador do?
A Squier Ambassador agrees to:
  1. Have their Senior Portraits taken by Squier Photography in April or May of their Junior year.

  2. Show their Senior portraits to friends and acquaintances and tell them how much you enjoyed having your portraits made.

  3. Pass out as many Ambassador Cards as you can. The more you hand out, the more chance of earning rewards! Your friends must turn these cards in for you to receive credit!

  4. Represent Squier Photography exclusively.

What does a Squier Ambassador receive in return?
  1. A Deluxe Senior Sitting for $50 (regularly $100): this sitting includes a variety of indoor and outdoor poses at absolutely no cost to you!

  2. If you order your own senior portraits within two weeks of us posting your proofs online, you will receive a $50 credit toward your order. If you order after your proofs have been online for two weeks, you will not receive this credit.

  3. Ambassador Cards with your photograph on it to pass out to friends. Your friends receive 16 free wallet prints when they return your card and have their Senior Portraits taken by Squier Photography. The cards also allow us to track how many referrals you have sent to us.

  4. $10 cash for each senior that we photograph that you sent to us. If you send 10 or more seniors, you will receive $15 for each after the first 10.

  5. Up to two additional sessions at times of your choice during your senior year. These can include a family portrait session, individual session or a friends session.

  6. If you have a facebook account, we will provide a way for you to link your senior portrait slideshow directly onto your page.

Rewards accumulate for every referral until December 31, 2008.

How do I become a Squier Ambassador?

Just send us an e-mail or call us at 614-798-0189 and we'll send out an application. We’ll let you know if you are selected as a Squier Ambassador. At that time we will set up a time for your Deluxe Senior Portrait Session.

Worthington Kilbourne Baseball 2008

A couple months ago I was asked to put together the baseball schedule for the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves baseball team. We had done this once before, two years ago, and it was a lot of fun, so we were excited to do it again.
The poster usually has a photo of the seniors on the team along with the schedule. This time they had a theme for the poster (last time they didn't want one). We were lucky in that we got one of the only warm days in March. There was a big snowstorm the day after these pictures were taken. In the top picture you can see the storm clouds rolling in.

A few days ago Jared came in for his Sr. Pictures. He was great to work with and we ended up spending a lot of time on his session. Be sure to see his slideshow and leave a comment below.

Becky

What a fun session this was. Becky came in all the way from Pickerington and brought lots of different outfits. I think we even managed to get pictures of all of them.
We started outside because it looked like it could rain -- luckily it didn't. The light was soft and beautiful with the cloud cover.
Then on to the inside studio pictures. Becky is friends with Lauren and wanted to a lot of the same things she did.
I feel bad because I didn't get her slideshow up until today, so it's a bit longer than usual to make up for it.

Twinsday

Last Saturday was "Twinsday" for us. It's not too often that we get to photograph twins, so it was really amazing that we had sessions with two sets.
First, Morgan and Mariah were here for their senior portraits. They each have their own slideshow (and blog post -- scroll down a bit to see them) so be sure to watch both of them. It turns out that I did a good job matching their names with their images. I would've hated to mix them up, though I'm sure it happens all the time.
In the afternoon we went over to Gavin and Ava's house for their newborn portraits. It was easier to tell these two apart -- Gavin's a bit bigger. And check out that arm in the picture above -- isn't that precious? There's just one slideshow for the two of them. Scroll down to the previous post to watch it.

Remember, almost all of the pictures on this blog link to slideshows. Of course, they don't on this post, but most of them do. ;-)

Today ended up being a busy Saturday, too, so stay tuned for more pictures.

Mariah

Mariah is the twin sister of Morgan (see post below), who also was here for her senior portraits last Saturday. She has her own slideshow for you to see.

Morgan

Last Saturday Morgan came in with her sister, Mariah, for their Senior portraits. We were having so much fun that I ended up with tons of images to sort through. I think the hardest thing was telling them apart.
The slideshow came out really well, too.

Last week Ally came by for her senior portraits. She's a senior at Dublin Coffman High School and wanted some in-studio portraits. Take a look at the slideshow for more pictures.

Alison

Alison came along with Nick (see below) and her Mom for her senior portraits, too. She was wonderful to work with and the heat outside didn't seem to bother her at all.
She has a slideshow, too, so make sure to watch it.

Nick

Last week Nick came in with his step-sister, Alison, for their senior portraits. We had done his brother's senior portraits a couple years ago so it was nice working with the same parents. The weather was hot -- especially for October. I think we broke some temperature record.

Anyway, there are some more images in his slideshow so be sure to check it out.

Nicole's a senior over at Dublin Coffman. She came in the other day for her senior portraits and we had a great time -- first at the studio and then over at the park.
Be sure to check out her slideshow.

Marissa

Last week, Marissa came all the way from Centerburg for her senior portraits. She was so excited and had spent a lot of time choosing her outfits before she got here. We have fun with seniors and we tend to go long -- but it's always worth it.
Take a look at Marissa's slideshow and let her know what you think.

Rachael

It's been a while since I've posted -- it's been crazy around here. Anyway, this is Rachael, a senior over at Dublin Coffman High School. She came in the other day and we were able to get some great images. Be sure to check out her slideshow and leave a comment below.

Thomas Worthington Football Poster

Two weeks ago this evening we were over at Thomas Worthington High School to photograph the Football team. They asked us to make a poster with the schedule at the bottom -- you know the posters that are hung in local businesses.

They had the entire Thomas Worthington Football program -- from the Seniors down to the 8th grade teams. Of course, the seniors were highlighted in the front and everyone else was in the back.

We were able to deliver 600 posters to them this past Wednesday, which is fast for offset printing. The posters are pretty big -- 18x24 inches, and turned out beautifully.

All you seniors out there -- come in for your senior portraits before September 30 (that's a Thursday) and get $20 off your portrait package -- but you have to mention this Blog post! If you don't tell us about this post before your session, it doesn't count.

Brittany

Brittany was in for her senior portraits the other day and what a great time that was. She was referred by Holly (Thanks, Holly!) and it couldn't have been better. First we did a few studio pictures.
Then we went outside for the ones she really wanted to do. The white dress is one of her favorites and she couldn't wait to wear it.
Be sure to see the slideshow -- there are more images there. If you want, leave a comment below. I'll be sure Brittany sees them.

Jenny

Jenny was in for her senior pictures with her twin brother, Dan (see the post right before this one). She was so much fun to work with and a great model. She's our other ambassador at Dublin Coffman so make sure to get one of her cards before we do your senior pictures.
Of course, Jenny has a slideshow, too, so take a look.

Dan

It's officially senior season! Dan's another one of our ambassadors. He's at Dublin Coffman high school. He didn't really know what he wanted at first so we just kind of went with the flow. After a while we were more comfortable and things went great.

Remember to ask him for his card to get free stuff when you bring it in for your senior pictures. Check out more images in his slideshow.

Holly's Sr. Pictures

Holly and her mom came in last week for her senior portraits and wow, she was great. The weather was beautiful and the clothes she brought were perfect -- a fantastic combination. Her pictures came out wonderfully. I'm so excited to show her the slideshow (and the rest of her pictures, too).

Holly's one of our student reps (aka ambassadors) to Worthington Kilbourne HS. If you're a Junior at Kilbourne (or any other high school) right now, make sure to get a card from her and you'll get some free stuff with your order. We're looking for reps from other area high schools, so if you know any Juniors about to become Seniors, from any area school, have them give us a call. By sending Seniors to us, these students get a free extended session and can earn lots of free stuff. It's a great program because everybody wins.

Anyway, check out Holly's slideshow.

Jessica

Earlier this week Jessica came in for her senior portraits. Her mom and a friend came along for support. It seems she had her portraits done at another studio and wasn't pleased with the outcome. No pressure, here, right? ;-) That just happens sometimes, so we thought we'd do some fun portraits inside and at the park. I'm really happy with how these ended up.

Take a look at the slideshow for some more pictures and leave a comment below.

Ashley

Another senior came in last week. This time it was Ashley. Her yearbook deadline is much later than most schools so the pictures weren't a priority. Gasp! Did I just say that? ;-) Anyway, we had a great time with her portraits.

Check out her slideshow and leave a comment.

Ryan

Today must be the day for Seniors. Here's another guy who came in late last week. I don't know why we're getting so many Seniors right now, but I'm not complaining. We met over at the park and then came here for some studio images.

Here's Ryan's slideshow.

Andrew

As I wrote in the last entry, these guys came in together for their senior portraits. We had photographed Andrew's family several months ago. His mom is the sister of the mother of two little girls who we've photographed in the past. Isn't it great how word-of-mouth adverstising works? I find it really interesting.

Anyway, since it was time for Andrew to get his Senior Portraits made (well, a little later than most folks) they came here.

Here's the link to his slideshow.

Andy

Andy stopped by for his senior portraits last week. Yes, it's pretty late to be getting them, but the yearbook picture had to be done at a specific studio, so there wasn't much of a hurry for them. He came in with his friend, Andrew. It was pretty fun.

Of course, there's a slideshow to see some of his portraits.
